The Museum of Mediterranean Masks in Mamoiada explores the ancient carnival traditions of Barbagia (Mamoiada - Ottana - Orotelli) of the Italian regions of Friuli, Alto Adige, Basilicata, Calabria and the Mediterranean basin (Greece, Croatia, Slovenia, Spain, Ukraine, Belgium, Bulgaria, Portugal). The exhibition is rich in dioramas, multimedia experiences, video projections, costumes, masks, and documents a cultural heritage that is still alive today.

BOOKING INSTRUCTIONS
Choose the date and time, select the appropriate ticket type, and proceed with payment. On the day of your visit, go to the ticket office and show your voucher. You do not need to print it; simply show it from your smartphone.
Reduced entrance fees are reserved for groups consisting of a minimum of 15 people, children/youths under the age of 18, visitors over the age of 70, and accompanying persons of the disabled.
Admission is free for handicapped persons, children under 5, ICOM members, licensed tour guides, residents of Mamoiada, students and teachers of ethno-anthropological kindergarten. Required to show ID to verify entitlement to the reduction.
For additional museum services (educational workshops, exhibitions, and events) there are no reductions or free admission.
